These Terms set out the conditions for using humehealth.uk and the Hume Health mobile app (together, the "Services"), operated by Hume Health, covering orders placed for the Hume Band 2.0, the Hume Pod, or both. Placing an order, registering an account, or otherwise using the Services means you accept these Terms.

1. Who Can Order

To buy from humehealth.uk or register a Hume Health account, you need to be 18 or over. The Services aren't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

2. How Orders Work

Placing an order is your offer to buy a Hume Band 2.0, a Hume Pod, or both, plus any extras such as an extended warranty, at the price shown, which already includes VAT. We may decline or cancel an order in specific situations — suspected fraud, a pricing error, or stock running out — and any payment taken is refunded in full when that happens.

Prices are shown in GBP inclusive of VAT and may change without notice, though a price change never applies retroactively to an order already placed.

Delivery timelines and the return process for either device are set out on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these Terms.

4. Health Disclaimer

The Hume Band 2.0 and the Hume Pod are consumer wellness products intended to help you observe general lifestyle, health and body-composition patterns. Neither is a medical device, and neither is designed to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Figures such as biological age, metabolic momentum, illness risk indicators, body fat percentage and metabolic age are wellness estimates from sensor or scale readings and internal algorithms — not a substitute for advice from a GP or other healthcare professional.

Speak to a doctor before making medical decisions, and always seek urgent care for a serious concern, regardless of what either app shows at the time.

5. Your Account

You're responsible for anything that happens under your Hume Health login, so keep your details secure — this covers both devices if you own each. Notice anything odd about account access? Tell us straight away.

6. Acceptable Use

Don't try to reverse-engineer or interfere with either device's hardware or software where that would break the law, use the Services in a way that infringes someone else's rights, or attempt to access or disrupt our systems without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

"Hume Band," "Hume Pod," "Hume Health" and related branding belong to Hume Health. Both devices and everything published on this store are protected by copyright and intellectual property law, and none of it may be copied or reused without our permission.

8. Warranty and Liability

Beyond the specific warranty set out in our Returns & Refunds policy, the Services are provided without further guarantees, as far as the law allows. Hume Health won't be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of either product or the Services, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Changes To These Terms

We may update this document from time to time, and any change shows as a new "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Services after an update means the new version applies to you.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
